Background

I am mostly self-taught, but have participa-
ted in various courses, e.g. at the Academy
of Fine Arts in Aarhus and the Silkeborg
Folk High School, and spent 9 months in an
art school in the Black Forest, Germany, in 
1990, where I was taught watercolour, oil
and acrylic painting by the painter
A. Khan-Leonhard.

I spend a brief study period with
A. Khan-Leonard almost every year.

His ancestry includes famous painters such 
as Chistian Zacho and Peder Mønsted.

Inspiration

I work with the light – especially in
landscapes and with the interaction between
light and shadow.
